Kimberly D. Turner, MEd – Vice President of Programming
Kimberly Turner is the Director of the Multicultural Resource Center at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. She previously worked as the Associate Director of ALANA Services at Loyola University Maryland for five years. Prior to her tenure at Loyola, she worked at James Madison University (JMU) as the Assistant Director of the Center for Multicultural Student Services for three years. She received her B.S. in Psychology and Masters in College Student Personnel Administration from JMU as well.
Working with young women is Kim’s passion. She served as the Director of the Female Institute for Learning and Development, a pre-collegiate program at James Madison University for three years and most recently, created a holistic retention program for women of color at Loyola University Maryland called Sister to Sister.
Professionally, Kim is also a board member of the AJCU Conference on Multicultural Affairs and the Washington Regional Taskforce against Campus Prejudice.
